Fear No Evil is one of our most loved—and most unique—essential oil blends we’ve created at The Remnant Homestead. Warm, calming, and deeply inviting, this is a scent that’s difficult to place into just one category. It’s herbal, softly citrusy, earthy, subtly spiced, and beautifully grounded by patchouli and frankincense.

Lavender brings a familiar calm while orange, bergamot, and May Chang add brightness. Pine needle gives the blend a fresh woodland character, while cinnamon bark and leaf add gentle warmth. Patchouli and frankincense pull everything together with a rich, earthy depth that makes Fear No Evil especially distinctive.

It’s neither overly masculine nor feminine—just a warm, sophisticated scent that works beautifully for both.

Each bar is handcrafted with goat milk and grass-fed beef tallow, alongside extra virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil, raw kokum and shea butters, apricot kernel oil, and castor oil. Its moody blue, violet, and charcoal appearance is created with Cambrian Blue Clay, activated charcoal, and mica, complementing the deep character of the essential oil blend.

Our essential-oil-only soap bars are handcrafted using the hot process method, allowing us to incorporate our essential oil blends after the primary cook. This helps minimize their exposure to the harshest stage of saponification while giving each bar its beautifully distinctive, rustic appearance. No two bars are exactly alike—each one is individually cut and uniquely its own.
